Gadar 2 ia a sequel of 2001 Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Gadar 2 is a much awaited film for many fans, starring Sunny Deol as Tara Singh, Ameesha Patel as Sakeena (his wife), Uttkarsh Sharma as Charanjeet Singh (Tara Singh and Skeena's son), Manish Wadhwa as Major Hamid Iqbal replacing Amrish Puri as villain. The movie is produced and directed by Anil Sharma, written by Shaktimaan Talwar who is Also the writer of movie Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo.

The Release date is 11 August, 2023 clash with Akshay Kumar's movie OMG 2.

Gadar (2001) is a history based Film everyone feels connected with film because of the India-Pakistan partition, giving audience a feel of patriotism, Gadar 2 will also give the same feeling because in the movie there will be a plot of 'Crush India Movement' which is based on real incident.

This movie's continues after 22 years, but audience will witness the same Tara Singh as before, same way of dialog delivery, scar his opponent by only showing expressions. Fans will also liked how Ameesha Patel showing his acting skills but compare to 1st part you must feel that her charm is missing someway. 

One the most disappointment is, the factor of Amrish Puri, his acting in Gadar 1 is out the park, fans likes his performance and will miss him in Gadar 2 , although Manish Wadhwa as villain is also doing good in the movie due to writing and dialogues.
